I have always had an interest in health and weight loss.
I was constantly on a lookout for weight loss tips, and I once was over 265 pounds and lost about 100 pounds.
I used the Tony Little Gazelle, ate wraps, did crunches, did squats, sit-ups and drank water 🙂
As weeks passed, I lost all the extra weight.
What started out as an over weight unhappy woman became a healthy mom that wore smaller clothes and felt better about herself.
Before I knew it, other woman started asking me for advice on how I lost weight so quickly.
Till today, I maintain that I am NOT an expert. If you want to lose weight it takes self discipline, control, dedication and patience. And self love. You can’t just love others, you need to love yourself as well. Take care of your own body and nurture it.
I am not a nutritionist and I don’t have any health certificates, just experience on losing weight. You should still contact a doctor before starting a new weight loss regime.
So what do I do? Well, health is my passion.
I read lots of health tips online, read health books, watch health videos, take walks, eat healthy when I can and I’m not perfect. I’m just human. But I have a ton of info stored in my brain from years of researching health benefits, exercise tips and more.
Today, I am healthy. I went to check my blood pressure this week at Walmart and my scores were all normal. Better than my husband. I was in shock because I have been stressed at work. But I smile allot at customers and I’m always on my feet for many hours.
Overtime, I’ve also learned not to be obsessed with every calorie and to enjoy food. But not to over eat. Or eat until I’m full. And not to do second plates. Over eating is not something I do much of anymore. At Thanksgiving I did not stuff myself this year.
Most people want to be fit and healthy. But are so stressed and worried so they over eat.
Get on lots of meds and go downhill after that. And are stuck in a rut.
They are now sick with diabetes, have bad immune system and just too tired to exercise.
You need to think outside the box, do something new. Find a new doctor to help you get off all that extra medicine. And get your health back on track.
You need to find a good nutritionist that actually cares and listens. Find people to talk to that have the same goals and passions you do.
And find a support group for people that are over weight and want to lose weight. Find a coach, mentor and natural doctor.
If you get the right support team, make it a goal to love yourself and be patient, you will become healthy and lose weight again!
It all takes with you “wanting” to lose weight! And taking the first step to get there.

I am a mom and a wife. I have a family and I love them dearly.
I am a manager at a store and I work a full time job.
When I’m not working, I am with my family. Going to the mall with my daughter, taking walks with her or my husband, going out to the movies or a place to eat, or renting a movie from red box to watch with them.
I love avocados, and I enjoy other healthy tasty treats like pomegranates.

I’m a believer and follower of Christ.
As a Christian, I pray for others. And try to be kind to others I meet when I’m at work or out and about.
I am 37 years old, I love Starbucks Peppermint Hot Cocoa and enjoy listening to The Cranberries when I’m driving.
I hope to travel someday with my family. I really want to go to Hawaii, Ireland, Walt Disney World and Paris.
I love going to the ocean, taking photographs, painting + drawing, hanging out with my mom and watching funny youtube vids.
I used to be shy when growing up, but now I’m a social butterfly and I love putting smiles on others faces.
Yeah… that’s pretty much an good short intro to the fun part of me. 🙂
